Check out the results of our Deer Hunter Survey! We gathered opinions from Deer Hunters all across Minnesota to get a sense of their concerns. Unsurprisingly, wolves were identified as the biggest threat to Minnesota Deer populations, closely followed by severe winters.
The majority of hunters believe that the DNR should take more action to address wolf predation on deer, and they emphasized the importance of developing an effective wolf management plan. Additionally, a significant number of hunters believe that the DNR should implement all actions suggested in the survey.
Most of the feedback we received came from hunters in North Central Minnesota and the Arrowhead region. It's not surprising, given that these hunters live close to the expansive woods of the BWCA and Voyageurs.
Thank you for participating in our survey! Don't forget to cast your vote in our next poll.
